General Program Description
- The EAP is available to all full and part time employees and their family members. Retirees are encouraged to use the program prior to their separation date
- The program is a 1-3 session short term counseling model
- The program includes child and eldercare resources and locates available dependent care based on the client's needs
- Legal and financial resources and consultations offer a face to face opportunity to meet with a legal or financial professional, and solve costly problems, and avoid expensive outcomes
- Employees have access to the program 24 hours a day/7 days a week by calling 800-843-1327 or accessing www.horizoncarelink.com. Login for access to program is fermilab. Password is eap.
- Appointments are available either onsite or within 20 miles/25 minutes of home or work (maximum distance)
- All staff are Masters or Ph.D. prepared and licensed in the state of practice
- Educational EAP seminars provide personal and professional growth training to employees
