My spouse's grandparent passed away. Am I eligible to use bereavement leave?
The family relationships covered in the Fermilab Bereavement policy are located at /policies/policy/bereavement.html. In this case, you would not be eligible for bereavement leave, but you are welcome to request vacation time per your department's procedures.
I am about to return to work after maternity leave. I work outside of Wilson Hall. How do I find a "Mothers' Room" for expressing milk near my work area?

Can my child submit an ACT score for the FRA Scholarship?
The FRA Scholarship can only accept the official SAT score report containing the critical reading and mathematics scores. Contact The College Board for information re: SAT testing dates and facilities.
Can I request vacation donation for 3-4 days?
Vacation donation is for medical emergencies expected to last 2-weeks or more. However, if the medical emergency is certified as an intermittent FMLA condition, vacation donation may be requested on an intermittent basis if it the accumulated leave reaches the eligibility criteria of 2-weeks.
Do I have to fill out the accomplishment report?
The accomplishment report is a tool for your use, but not required. It serves as a reminder to your supervisor of the accomplishments you completed. It also gives you the opportunity to reflect on your past performance and future career development activities.
Can I extend my employee's probation period?
The decision to retain or release a new hire should be made within the 6-month initial hire period. If you are unsure whether to retain a new employee, contact Employee Relations (Juanita Frazier - frazier@fnal.gov or 630.840.3793 or Heather Sidman - hsidman@fnal.gov or 630.840-3326) to discuss your options. In rare instances, a probation period may be extended.
I have not received my performance goals, what can I do?
You should contact your manager to request a meeting to set your performance goals. If you are not comfortable in doing so or if you do not have goals within a reasonable timeframe after making the request, you may contact Employee Relations (Juanita Frazier - frazier@fnal.gov / 630.840.3793 or Heather Sidman - hsidman@fnal.gov / 630.840-3326). We can help facilitate the goal-setting process (to find out the reason for delay, to assist you and/or your manager in creating goals, etc.).
