The co-op student will contact you for your approval of the course(s) he/she is considering prior to enrolling. Discuss these choices with the student and determine if they are appropriate under the guidelines of the tuition assistance policy.

After you and the student agree on course selection(s), the student completes the tuition assistance request form and sends it to the Training and Development Department at MS107.

discuss student responsibilities

Ensure that the student is aware of his/her responsibilities for receiving tuition reimbursement by reviewing the following requirements with him/her:

  1. The student must submit full documentation to the Training and Development Department within 60 days of completing the course(s). Full documentation includes an itemized, zero balance receipt for tuition and fees, receipt(s) for each book purchased, and an official copy of final grade(s).
  2. All documentation is due upon course completion. If any required documentation is outstanding 60 days after course completion, the student will forfeit the reimbursement.
