IITV Program

Illinois Institute of Technology brings advanced undergraduate and graduate level courses directly to Fermilab via microwave television signal. During course broadcasts, students have the opportunity to phone into the live classroom with questions.

The university offers over 100 live televised courses in the following areas: biology, civil and architectural engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, computer science, electrical and computer engineering, environmental engineering, food process engineering, food safety and technology and mechanical, materials, and aerospace engineering. Employees may pursue individual courses, a post-baccalaureate certificate program, or a masters degree program. More information can be found at www.distance-education.iit.edu or by sending email to pryor@iit.edu.

Fermilab's on-site liaison, Karen Karlix, handles scheduling, exam proctoring, and access to the IITV room.
