Payment for On-Site Courses

Enrollment
Please sign up as early as you can. If the class minimum is not met by the contract deadline with the vendor, the class will have to be cancelled and rescheduled.

Payment for Classes
Payment is handled at the time you enroll. You must provide a valid project/task code to reserve a seat in a class. If you fail to attend a class or if you withdraw 10 business days or fewer before it begins, you will be charged the full fee.

Computer Class Subsidies for URA Graduate Students
Subsidies from URA institutions continue to be available to Fermilab graduate students. Universities Research Association provides the funds. To qualify, you must be a graduate student at one of the member institutions and have a valid Fermilab ID. The subsidies are not available to post-docs or regular Laboratory employees.

Subsidies do not apply to ordinary PC classes such as the Microsoft Office suite or HTML Introduction. Under current guidelines, subsidies are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis and cover 100% of the course fee.
